The University System of Georgia Foundation (USG Foundation) is committed to advancing the University System of Georgia's 2029 strategic plan of responsible stewardship initiatives by:
Working with all 26 campus advancement leaders on best practices and innovative approaches to increase the amount of private funds raised by institutions in general and for scholarships.
To reduce net cost of attendance for students and limit the amount of loans needed to finance education.
PROGRAM AREAS INCLUDE:
Institutional advancement services, including capacity-building grants and professional development training for the 26 USG institution foundations.
Fundraising for statewide need-based scholarships to support students across all 26 USG public institutions through endowed scholarships and the annual Regents’ Scholarship and Award Gala.
Innovative financing of capital projects at USG institutions.
Partnering with USG Initiatives: Georgia Film Academy, Georgia FinTech Academy, Georgia Public Library System (GPLS), and the Georgia Archives.
